Welcome to The Phoenix Inn Twyford

The Phoenix Inn has been run as a family pub from when The Mundy Family took over in 1981. Reg and Anne as landlord and landlady and their son Paul as Chef.
​
In 1984 Reg retired and Paul took the reins as landlord and carried on from where his dad left off.
I started working here at the age of 14, working my way through the ranks from pot washer to chef to landlady, after Paul and I became partners in life and in business.
We've had a lot of happy years working here together but sadly on November 24th 2019 Paul died suddenly.

Paul was a proper landlord and will never be forgotten.
​
So looking forward to the future I want to carry on running this amazing pub as a family run pub in Paul's honour, starting in January 2020 myself and my youngest son Tom started working together and we will work hard to keep The Phoenix Inn the warm welcoming pub it has been for the last 39 years

With 6 to 8 traditional & locally sourced Ales on the Handpumps, there is something for everyone! Support from CAMRA & Cask Mask we are proud to be a Local Ale House.
GARDEN
With a heated Front Patio, large grass area & marquee for undercover eating, we have multiple outdoor spaces to sit back and relax, Dogs welcome Inside & Out.
